Disaster Communication using Mesh Software
This project demonstrates the creation of a mesh network consisting of stationary and mobile nodes, based on cost-efficient hardware and freely available software. All nodes are connected wireless to be as independent as possible. The existing “Serval” project is extended to support the communication between stationary units. Furthermore, the mobile client, which extends the network range dynamically, is adapted to support modern Android versions.
