Open Office Signature
The plugin allowed qualified electronic signatures on PDF documents created from Open Office.
Electronic signatures are a basis of eBusiness and eGovernment, as data is authenticated and protected against later manipulation. They allow offering official documents electronically that before only were available on paper.
A-SIT has developed a plugin for OpenOffice that allowed to integrate PDF-AS (a national Austrian library to create official signatures).
As the tool was only available up to OpenOffice version 2.x, the project was retired an the plugin is no longer available.
