Systematic Analysis of the Fingerprintability of Android
This report presents a framework that can automatically recognize fingerprintable information sources on Android devices. For this purpose it automatically invokes methods, queries fields and retrieves data from content providers. The framework was used in two different experiments. In these experiments, a variety of information sources could be identified, which provide such potentially fingerprintable information. Furthermore, unique device identification features were found, which are a result of manufacturer adaptations.
